Save Private Property Rights!

HB 5 is up for a public hearing on April 28th. For those unfamiliar, this measure would ban smoking in workplaces and public places. This measure is an awful attack on private property rights and the free market. We could use your help fighting the ban.
1. Submit written testimony to lauraelizabethmorales @ gmail.com. All we need is 200 words about why you’re against the smoking ban and we’ll submit the testimony for you. 2. Email your elected officials. FreedomWorks set up an easy online form, just fill it out and hit send.

All my life I have wondered how a man like Adolf Hitler could so fool the German people. Now I understand. In America, the tobacco Nazis have pulled the wool over the eyes of a whole generation.
It’s all about money, power and control. I am 70 years old, have been smoking since I was 12, and never realized until recently that is is possible to take something harmless and turn it into something incredibly dangerous by playing with a nation’s fears. That is what has been done with, “second hand smoke.” I find it really ironic that in what we call, “the information age,” people are so ignorant as to believe the lies fed to them about smoking.
