What We Learned From Joe the Plumber

October 17, 2008

1. If you’re a common folk like Joe the Plumber or your average Young Conservative Hispanic Girl  from Texas (like yours truly), you must be vetted before you dare ask the Obamessiah or any elected official a question about their tax plan.

2. No one is safe from the force of the Obamessiah.  No, really, no one.

3. If you are on the side of the Obamessiah then you will not be raked through the coals by the MSM. (H/T: Hot Air):

Oh — I almost forgot to mention: Martin Nesbitt, the treasurer of Obama’s campaign, has tax liens. So do his companies.

You’d think that matters more than the tax liens of Joe the Plumber, wouldn’t you? But good luck finding a Big Media story about Nesbitt’s liens.

Joe the Plumber, on behalf of the conservative movement, thank you.

In closing, even if you do buy the argument that Joe the Plumber and other average Joes get a tax cut on the Obamessiah’s plan.  Even if you do buy the argument that Joe the Plumber isn’t an average Joe.  And EVEN if you do buy any other argument tossed at Joe the Plumber, the MSM and the Obama camp still reveals the following:

-Yes, there is a tax increase for many under the Obama plan

-Yes, the Obama plan = welfare for that 30 – 40% of Americans who do not pay taxes

-Yes, Obama wants those who worked hard for their money, invested well, and planned for their future to “spread the wealth” to others.  Sounds like socialism to me.

Seems to me like Joe the Plumber has been the only person to finally debunk the MSM narrative about Barack Obama.
