Defending the American Dream Summit
September 29, 2008I will be in Washington, DC next weekend to attend the Americans for Prosperity Defending the American Dream Summit.
As some of you remember, I got to speak at the Texas Defending the American Dream Summit this summer. I also got to attend the DC Summit last year where I got to meet Dinesh D’Souza, Senator John McCain and many more.

Run for your life! Being that close to that many politicians when they are spending $700 billion to bailout people who ought to be allowed to fail cannot be good for your health. I can say this much–I am failing at the wrong business. Had I gone in to financial instead of the newspaper business, somebody would be throwing me a “rescue” package, a.k.a. bailout. And I thought journalists were the wordsmiths. Seems the “spin doctors” have re-named the same old Wall Street welfare program and now, our children will get to pay for this for decades. You know how you can tell a real conservative? He’s the one who is debt free, buys only what he can afford, uses his own money, works to earn what he has and prospers because of his own intelligence and education. Hard to find conservatives these days. Sing loud.
